Maintain air filter
Maintenance interval - 250 hours
A dual-element air filter comes standard. The air obstruction indicator light on the instrument panel comes on to indicate that the primary filter element is dirty. A dirty filter element can cause power loss or a lot of smoke.
Clean the primary filter element when the indicator light on the instrument panel comes on or every 250 hours.
Both stages of filter elements should be replaced at the same time every year, regardless of the condition of the filter elements.
1. Lift the engine hood.
2. Pull the lock (A) and push down the handle (B).
3. Push up the cover (C).

IMPORTANT: Do not use compressed air to clean the filter, as this will damage the filter.
4. Pull out the primary filter element (A). Don't use too much force. If you can't pull the filter out easily, shake it from side to side to remove it.
5. Tap the primary filter element on your hand to clean it.
6. Check the rubber seal around the filter element for cracks or holes. If there is any problem with the filter element, replace it.
7.Only remove the secondary filter element when it is necessary to replace it. If it looks dirty or damaged, do not attempt to clean it, just replace it.
8. When reinstalling the primary filter element, the rubber sealing ring should be installed first (the arrow on the label is aligned with the filter housing). Push it all the way in.
IMPORTANT: If the primary filter is not damaged but the indicator light on the dash is still illuminated, replace both stages of the filter together.
9. Close the cover and lock the handle.
